3. Checking your Account settings

After you have added a new account, it's time to check the information you have entered. First make sure the newly added account is highlighted in the main window. Next, click the "Check" button. PEN will now try to make a connection with the email server. Under "Status", you will see the word "Checking..." appear.

If PEN succeeds in connecting, the "Status" will read "Ok". In any other case an error message will be displayed. If so, click the "Edit" button and double check your information.
